I wrote this in honor of my late grandfather....

'Cancer'

Please don't leave me

You're my hero

This can't be

Without you I have nothing, absolute zero

The cancer has spread

Time is ticking fast

Its gone to your head

But please just last

Three O'clock

The Call will come

The clock goes tick-tock

We start to run

We walk in the room

You're gone,

You've met your doom

What did I do wrong?

That was when I finally cried

I lost everything

The day you died

There was no longer any reason to sing

I can't take it anymore

I want you here

I sprint out the door

                        And for months I can't stop myself from shedding a tear
