The Art of Conforming

I've always wondered why people do the things they do.
why do they do them?
I know that's like asking whats the meaning of life but I think I quite possibly have figured it out...its 100% conformity.
not a single person on this earth is exactly them self.
people always conform....
even if its not that big of a deal they are still acting differently to please others.
We need to be ourselves.
I know easier said than done but we need to try,
this is regoddamndiculous. [yes i kinda just made up a word. lol]
people are not being friends just because another friend doesn't like them.
people won't admit they love someone because they wouldn't be widely accepted.
The list could go on forever.....
Even the people who are trying to be "different" are conforming in some way.
how many people do you know that are trying to be "different"?
by being the "different" person you are conforming to an entirely different mass.
I don't know but I think we all really need to think before we're doing something, "Am I doing this for me, or is it because it would make somebody somewhere happy in some way?"
I don't know,
maybe I' asking too much of people but I just hope that we can one day be who we really are.
I'm not asking to change the world.
Simply make people think.
